This lovely Blue Mountain Jasper from south western Oregon has a deep teal like none other. Blue Mountain Jasper is considered the porcelain of the jasper world. In other words, its the finest jasper out there. I love how this stone gives the image of the sun about to break through stormy clouds.
This jasper was cut with care by Adam Mendel and is wrapped in a 14k yellow gold bezel with two sapphire accents to compliment the jasper. The pendant hangs on an oxidized silver chain with two gold hoops.
The pendant measures 1 1/4" long by 3/4" wide. The chain is 22" long.

Care Instructions
Silver will naturally oxidize over time. I provide wipes that you can use on any jewelry I make. Commercial dips can be very harsh on surface treatments and porous stones. Try to avoid dipping any porous stones in the solution such as pearls, turquoise, variscites, opals, and jaspers. Q tips are great to get around the stones. If your piece has keum boo on it do not soak your piece in any jewelry dips. Usually a quick dip and immediate rinse in water with soap will clean your piece. Gold pieces can be shined and cleaned with my polishing wipes I provide and if you need to get behind a stone use hot soapy water and a soft toothbrush. If the piece is already oxidized and needs to be cleaned, hot soapy water or a soft cloth work well.
