The process and journey of a small jewelry company

Summer 2016 Collection

Summer 2016 Collection

Our Summer 2016 Collection is here, ready for the warm weather days. These pieces are perfect to take from a nice dinner with your love to a trip to the lake.

I drew my inspiration from many places including the work of Klimt. Art Nouveau and Glasgow style work has always been an influence around my work, which you can see throughout the past collections right into the current line. Soul, Passage and Journey are the three lines that speak to me of Glasgow characteristics. The use of gold accents and texture can be seen in these and several pieces making them more dynamic.

I also had the opportunity to make several pieces of jewelry for my sister in laws recent wedding. This gave me more inspiration to make pieces that are perfect for brides, that can be worn well after the wedding or given as gifts to the wedding party and loved ones. Roost and Balance are particularly nice collections for a bride or bridal party to wear on the big day. I can’t help but love weddings, and I love making jewelry for future brides as well!

As always I used my specialty 24 karat keum boo accents on sterling silver, and everything is made by hand. This jewelry will sparkle in the sunshine either on a wedding day, or on a stand up paddle board on the river. Even though in Oregon the weather is still brisk out, I am dreaming of those Summer days at the lake and this new collection lets me know its right around the corner.
